Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination
What Is BIE?
Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination – founded in 1998 – is a simple, natural new approach that enables one’s body to recognize sensitivities or intolerances (aka stressors), assisting in recovery from associated allergy-like symptoms, without the use of needles or drugs.
How Does BIE Work?
A lightweight state-of-the-art device is used to transmit a low electronic frequency directly onto various acupuncture points (without the use of needles) on the body to stimulate and clear any blockages in energy known as stressors. During this procedure the client is exposed to the frequencies of the substances they are intolerant or sensitive to (not the actual substances themselves). While the blockages are clearing, the body’s cells can adapt to recognize the stressing frequency. When this non-invasive and painless procedure is complete, the body will hopefully no longer see the sensitivity or intolerance as a threat when exposed to it, therefore no longer producing any adverse reactions.
Does BIE Have Any Side Effects?
Though not common, some patients will experience a healing crisis where for a brief period of time – 1 to 2 days or lasting up to a few weeks – the body is trying to re-achieve balance. Minor symptoms may be experienced like a headache, sore throat, sinus congestion, lethargy, aches and pains or frequent urination – all usually signs of the body cleansing. In fact, clients may appear to be feeling sick, sometimes feeling flu’ish. The body processes information received from the BIE session and returns back to a healthier state while reestablishing balance.
How Many BIE Treatments Are Required?
This will depend on what health conditions are being addressed. Many allergens require only a few sessions for complete results. The number of visits depend on the category of allergens we are treating (e.g.. food, pollens, heavy metals) and how many allergens the patient has.
Will I Notice Results Right Away? How Long Does The Effect Last?
Most patients find immediate results after the first visit, while others require several visits to detect and remove all suspect causes, particularly if an individual has many intolerances. In extreme cases, those with severe intolerances have reported a 4 to 6 week period lapsed after their session before feeling complete relief of their symptoms. However, if something dramatic has changed – illness, high stress, surgery; events that stress the body’s functions and organs; some reactions may return. These circumstances are also addressed during your session to mitigate and to treat if necessary.
Usually one to four BIE sessions are required for the body to normalize (achieve homeostasis) to a stressor. In most cases, homeostasis can be achieved after the first visit. However, depending on the health status of the patient – how much stress the body is under, toxins exposure and how the immune system has been – they may require a few visits for the body to normalize to those stressors. Once homeostasis is achieved, there is usually no need for subsequent or yearly visits for the same stressors.
Does BIE Address Conditions Other Than Intolerances And Sensitivities?
Because BIE reprograms a cell’s response to its environment, BIE’s application is far-reaching. Hormonal imbalances such as hot flashes, PMS; sugar metabolism – hypoglycemia/diabetes; fat metabolism, thyroid imbalances are just a few issues which can be approached with BIE. In addition, our clinic will issue lab requisitions for various testing including standard blood cell counts, triglycerides, fasting blood sugar, thyroid hormones, hormonal saliva panels, etc. when necessary to accurately assess the patient’s health.
How Do I Know If I Have An Allergy Or Sensitivity?
It is often quite difficult to know if the symptoms you are experiencing are allergic reactions. There is a long list of symptoms that can be a result of eating a food, exposure to pollen, or a chemical. The list goes beyond itchy eyes, scratch throat, runny nose, stomach cramps, itchy skin etc. See below for possible symptoms.
Does My Health Insurance Cover This?
Because you are under the care of a Naturopathic Physician your plan should cover the cost provided you have Naturopathic Medical coverage.
